FURY VETERAN KEITH BUNYAN STARS IN GB MAXIS TEAM IN SPAIN

Former Scotland International/ Commonwealth Games / BBL Championship winner and Fury legend Keith Bunyan has added Great Britain representation to his distinguished career. After Captaining his Fury SM team to a SBL win over Dunfermline Reign on Friday night, Keith flew to Cartagena, Murcia in Spain to join his GB Masters teammates, to take part in an International Tournament against National Masters sides from Uruguay, Ukraine and Spain. Keith is a member of the GB 45yrs plus Masters team and the team finished second, with wins over Spain and Uruguay. Keith, a starting 5 player, averaged 9pts per game in the competition. The GB Masters sides play in International governing body-recognised World and European masters level competition and this allows former / current national league, professional and International players to return to high level competition. The GB Maxi’s program has 8 teams with age groups male and female from 35plus to 55plus and will compete in the European Maxi basketball Championships in Malaga in 2022.
