SONY CENTRE FURY 75 WEST LOTHIAN WOLVES 80
Scottish Championship Basketball U16 Men Division 1
32 points from Scotland International Jack Davidson was not enough to save Fury from losing a vital match at the top of the Championship table. With an incredible 7 teams locked in a struggle to gain an edge in the title race, this was a big loss for the Falkirk side. Ahead 23-18 at the end of the first period, that 5 pt lead was overhauled in the second stanza as Wolves with a 24-18 period led by 1 at the half. Wolves maintained their gradual momentum taking the third also to lead by 5 going into the last quarter. That period was tied at 20 apiece as Fury were unable to close the gap. Jake Cavanagh had 13pts with Ellis Walker returning to action after a lengthy injury issue and scoring a creditable 12pts. This week-end Fury face a tough Tayside team and for the Falkirk side they will once again go into the game without a full squad, a feature of the season so far
